WORLD WOMEN FARMERS DAY MESSAGE FROM ASFA HOLDING CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD ASAF ATASOY
ASFA HOLDING Chairman of the Board of Directors, Philanthropist and Businessman Asaf ATASOY, published a message on the occasion of October 15, International Women Farmers’ Day.
ASFA HOLDING Chairman of the Board of Directors Asaf ATASOY included the following statements in his message;
I congratulate our women, who are the most important actors in agriculture and who participate in the workforce at every stage of agriculture from field to table, on the ‘World Women Farmers Day’. We know the importance of women’s existence, considering the important position they have in agricultural production, sustainable use of resources, food production and safety.
It is a fact that women feed the world, women shoulder agriculture. Women are the assurance and guarantor of agriculture in our country. Our women, who have always protected our homeland and our children in our history, have an undeniable importance in protecting our land and fertility today. We are sure that the presence of women in agriculture is an indispensable factor in the development of countries.
Strengthening, facilitating and advancing the roles of our women in the agricultural sector is our most important responsibility as a country. It is gratifying that there are studies at the state level for women, and it is our expectation that they are taken to a higher level.
We are grateful for the material and moral contributions of our women to agriculture, family and national economy. On this occasion, we celebrate October 15th International Women Farmers Day of our devoted and selfless women farmers and wish them many fruitful and profitable years.
