On July 29, 2024, at the headquarters of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), a ceremony was held to present the credentials of the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to this organization, Rahimi Dilshod, to the Director-General of UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay.

During the meeting held after the ceremony, the parties exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and discussed prospects for cooperation. A positive assessment was given to the current state of cooperation between Tajikistan and UNESCO.
