On October 20, 2023 was held a virtual meeting of the Deputy Foreign Ministers of Central Asia and the Republic of Korea in order to prepare for the 16th Ministerial session of the Cooperation Forum of Central Asia and the Republic of Korea, which will be held on October 31-November 1, 2023 in Ashgabat of Turkmenistan.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Farhod Salim took part in this meeting.

During the videoconference, the parties discussed organizational issues related to the ministerial meeting, the development of cooperation based on the agenda of the Forum, as well as the draft Joint statement and Work plan of the Forum Secretariat for 2024.
