Asfa Holding Chairman of the Board of Directors Asaf Atasoy’s April 10 Police Week Message
Asfa Holding Board Chairman, Philanthropist and Businessman Asaf Atasoy, published a message on the occasion of the 180th anniversary of the establishment of the Police Department.
Asfa Holding Board Chairman Asaf Atasoy included the following statements in his message;
Our Turkish Police Organization has the rightful honor of winning the love and trust of our nation with its outstanding success and determination in ensuring the peace and welfare of society and the safety of life and property of our citizens for 180 years from April 10, 1845 to the present day.
Our Turkish Police Department, one of the exceptional institutions of our state, has also gained a very strong structure in terms of personnel, vehicles, equipment and technical equipment. Beyond all these structural changes and technological improvements, the factor that makes the Turkish Police the strongest is that it is derived from the nation, meets the values of the nation and carries the pride of belonging to the nation as the highest value. Our police officers, who extend a helping hand to everyone as a member of the nation they emerged from, take the initiative in solving problems and sometimes stand out as a solution authority for problems at every level.
Since the day it was founded, all members of the organization have been working without hesitation to put their lives on the line for the state and nation. Our police officers, who ensure the safety of the lives and properties of our citizens in every corner of our country regardless of the concept of working hours, have undertaken important tasks in the fight against terrorist organizations at home and abroad for the survival of our state and have accomplished successful works. Every individual of our Police Organization has considered every task given as honor and dignity and has waved our glorious flag wherever they were assigned.
With these feelings and thoughts, I congratulate this meaningful day of our police department, which fulfills this honorable duty with great devotion and love for humanity in every corner of our country, I remember with mercy and gratitude our dear martyrs who gave their lives for their homeland and nation, and I express my gratitude to our veterans.
