Celebrating its 181st anniversary, our Police Organization has been working with great dedication for nearly two centuries to ensure the indivisible integrity of the Homeland and Nation, the peace and happiness of our people, the safety of life and property, and to protect human rights and freedoms.

To benefit from the blessings and grace of this night, and to attain divine mercy and forgiveness, we should consider this night of pardon and salvation as an opportunity.

Principled journalism makes significant contributions to ensuring peace, tranquility, and security in our country, while misused journalism can destroy this environment. Understanding the struggles faced by our brothers and sisters with disabilities, seeking solutions to the challenges they face, and celebrating their achievements are of such profound importance that they cannot be limited to a single day. Furthermore, December 3rd has served as a reminder for all of us for years, providing a significant opportunity to assess our progress, recognize our shortcomings, and redefine our goals for a more inclusive future.

The approach that prioritizes the full and equal participation of individuals with disabilities, who are a part of society, in all aspects of life is a reflection of the value our deep-rooted civilization places on people. Our ancestors prioritized improving the quality of life of individuals with disabilities by supporting them, without isolating them from society; examples of this approach can be clearly seen in historical documents. We are the heirs of a culture that understands that true disability lies not in physical disabilities, but in hearts and minds.

On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, November 24th, which is the anniversary of Head Teacher Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s acceptance of the “Head Teacher of the National Schools”, I congratulate all our teachers with love and sincerity.

Teaching, one of the most honorable professions in the world, is a valuable and sacred profession that requires effort, devotion, patience and tolerance, and whose value cannot be measured by any financial reward.

Teachers are the heart and soul of a society. Raising virtuous and moral generations that embrace society is possible through the extraordinary efforts and success of our teachers. Undoubtedly, true success lies in “good morals.” Beyond raising successful individuals, and even more importantly, shaping generations armed with our values, reflecting one another, and keeping their consciences watchful over themselves will only be possible through the hands of our teachers. Indeed, Head Teacher Atatürk’s description of teaching as an “army of wisdom” expresses this same perspective.

Head Teacher Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk emphasized the importance of the teaching profession, which serves as a bridge between the past and the future, by saying, “Society’s greatest enemy is ignorance, and the enemy of ignorance is the teacher. The teacher is the teacher of the past and the founder of the future. The future belongs to the youth. And the youth are the work of the teachers.”
