On September 17, 2024, during a working visit to London, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr Ismatullo Nasredin met with the Minister of State at the Home Office of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Mr Dan Jarvis.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest in the field of security, counter-terrorism and other regional issues.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Narendra Modi on his re-election as Prime Minister of the Republic of India.

The Kazakh President stated that the re-election to such a high office demonstrates the unwavering trust and support of Indian citizens for the visionary policies of Narendra Modi.

– I am convinced that India will continue its impressive path as one of the fastest growing economies and attain new accomplishments under your strong leadership. On June 5, 2024, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the State of Qatar, Nurmurod Mahmadali, presented a copy of his credentials to the State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sultan bin Saad al-Muraihi.

After the ceremony of presenting of credentials, the Ambassador held a meeting with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, where issues of implementing the results of high-level negotiations between Tajikistan and Qatar were discussed, as well as prospects for expanding cooperation in various areas, including the opening of direct flights between the cities of Dushanbe and Doha.

During the meeting, the State Minister of Foreign Affairs wished success to the Ambassador of Tajikistan in his future diplomatic missions and emphasized readiness to expand bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Qatar in various directions.

On June 3, 2024, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lebanon, Najib Azmi Mikаti, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Lebanon, Zubaydzoda Zubaydullo.

During the meeting, the issues of expanding beneficial relations between Tajikistan and Lebanon were discussed. On June 3, 2024, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the Regional Representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Central Asia Ms. Ashita Mittal.

During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues within the framework of UNODC, in particular the progress of the implementation of projects under the UNODC Program for Central Asia for 2022-2025.

Expressing satisfaction with the current level of cooperation between Tajikistan and UNODC, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan thanked A. Mittal for her efforts as the UNODC Regional Representative in Central Asia and wished her success in her future endeavors.
