On February 1, 2023, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Sharaf Sheralizoda met with Chairman of Al-Huqooq International Company of the State of Kuwait Mr. Hashim Majid.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperatsion between the Al-Huqooq International Company and other issues of mutual interest.

On January 25, 2023 in Milan, on the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Italian Republic (headquartered in Paris) a presentation of investment and tourism opportunities of Tajikistan was held. More than 200 Italian entrepreneurs and investors took part in this event.

During the event, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Italian Republic Jamoliddin Ubaidullo provided detailed information to the audience about the political, economic and social achievements of the country during the period of independence, its strategic goals and state programs, banking system, favorable business environment and various investment projects, as well as abundant trade, economic and tourism opportunities.

On January 26, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Tajikistan Waleed bin Abdurrahman Alreshaidan at his request.

During the meeting, the issues of mutual interest, bilateral relations and cooperation within the framework of international organizations have been considered.

Participation in the meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries

On 11 December 2022 in Ashgabat the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseinzoda participated and addressed the 12th meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries.

During his statement the Deputy Minister expressed his views on the importance of joint fight against modern threats and challenges, including terrorism and extremism, drug trafficking, organized crime and climate change problems.

Deputy Minister Huseizoda briefed the participants on the efforts of the Government of Tajikistan to strengthen dialogue, especially within the framework of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA), in order to find effective ways to counter the above threats.

At the same time, the attention of the participants was drawn to the “Dushanbe Process on countering terrorism”, as well as high-level international events organized within the framework of this process.
