On October 9, 2023, in Baku, within the framework of the 27th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Economic Cooperation Organization, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov.

 

 

 

 

During the meeting, the foreign ministers expressed interest of expanding bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan. In this context, the need to seize opportunities to develop economic, trade and investment relations between the two countries, especially in the fields of hydropower, transport, communications, agriculture and tourism, was emphasized.

 

 

 

 

At the same time, an exchange of views took place on issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan within the framework of international organizations and other issues of mutual interest.
